PTFA Christmas Faye

Raffle tickets were sent home this week in book bags, 1 book per family. Please use the envelope provided to send in any money or un-used tickets to the office. There are more books available from the office should you want some.

Thank you for donations received so far towards the hampers.  We are still looking for donations . Each class has been assigned a hamper theme, but if you have something to donate for a hamper that isn't your child's class then it would still be lovely to receive it. A reminder of the hampers :

Codden - Tea Lovers,   this can be cups, mugs, biscuits, teapot, loose  
                                      tea, speciality tea, herbal. Any queries then 
                                      Christine can help.

Tarka - Luxury Pamper,  this can be bubble bath, lotions, candles, 
                                         balms, face cloths, men's and ladies.

Barum - Coffee Lovers,   this can be, mugs, instant coffee, speciality
                                          coffee, caffetiere, biscuits, 

Saunton - Cheese & Wine,   this can be, biscuits for cheese, cheese 
                                               board, knife, napkins, chutney and pickle,
                                               red/white wine

Exmoor - Family Fun,         this can be, board games, puzzles, movies,
                                             popcorn, colouring activities

Lundy - Luxury Christmas,   this can be, Xmas pudding and cake, yule
                                               log, napkins, crackers, sauces, wine.

These are just a few ideas we came up with but if you have anything else that you feel would be good then that would be great.

If anyone is free to help run a stall at the Christmas market it would be very appreciated. It isn't for the whole event but just half an hour of your time on a particular stall. It has worked in the past when a group of 4/5 friends run a stall as you can then sort between yourselves who will cover it and for how long and also it gives you a base as well for the evening which is helpful when younger ones come along as well.
It is lovely to have parent support for these fundraising events as without it we wouldn't be able to go ahead, which in turn would mean lower funds for our children.  

Please let us know if you can help, by either telling a PTFA member, or if you don't know who we are then let your child's teacher know and they can tell us. You could also reply to this email or drop a note marked for the PTFA into the box outside the office.
