Exmoor 20/21

We have had a brilliant last week of term, making Christingles and singing (socially distanced) songs on the playground. We investigated how far our Roman catapults could launch pieces of paper. We had a yummy Christmas dinner and then ran the Santa run!

Constructing our own Roman catapults, improving our dribbling and passing skills.

This week we have enjoyed designing and making Roman coil pots.  Electricity has also sparked our imagination!  We constructed circuits, made the bulbs brighter and made our own switches.

Building mini dens, exercising alongside Joe Wickes and discussing how Children in Need helps others.

Creating Roman mosaic designs and solving problems using a range of different methods.

Creating mosaic pictures, writing non-fiction information pages and running in the cross country.

Tie-dying, fabric painting, making a human timeline and enjoying our baked apples.

Wax leaf rubbing, writing short poems, polystyrene printing, leaf stenciling with pastels and working on our leadership skills.

We continue to focus on working together and the important qualities we look for in our friends. In Art we linked colour to mood and created pictures that brought together out PSHE and Art skills.

Writing poems about ourselves, making macramé with the help of our friends, practicing our times tables and making dreamcatchers.
